Die erste Eigenproduktion trägt den Titel „VOXLabYrinth“. Ausgehend von der Dürrenmatt’schen Version des Minotaurus hat Franziska Baumann mittels räumlich-labyrinthischen Versuchsanordnungen spielerische Strukturen erarbeitet, innerhalb derer die individuellen Stimmen improvisatorisch als auch in kollektiven Choreografien ausgelotet werden. Spiegelungen, Vexierbilder, Absurdes und Apokalyptisches, Individuelles und Kollektives sind die Leitthemen der improvisatorischen Annäherungen. Die individuellen Hintergründe der Sänger und Sängerinnen reflektieren eine Stilvielfalt, deren Spektrum von „folklore imaginaire“ über Jazz und Rock, moderne Klassik bis zur abstrakten Performance Art reicht. Dieser Stimmenraum wird kontrapunktiert und erweitert durch visuelle Koordinaten der Videoprojektionen von Claudia Brieske.

Vocal production for seven vocalists and video triptych

Their first own production is entitled „VOXLabYrinth“. Starting from the Dürrenmatt version of the Minotaur, Franziska Baumann has developed choreographic structures for singers initializing spatial-labyrinthine arrangements. Individual vocal approach as well as collective choreographies are explored improvisationally. Reflections, puzzles, absurd and apocalyptic, individual and collective ways act as their key notes. The individual backgrounds of the singers reflect a variety of styles ranging from „folklore imaginaire“ to jazz and rock, modern classical music and abstract performance art. This vocal universe is counterpointed and enhanced by visual coordinates of the video projections by Claudia Brieske.
